Warren Buffet says, ” If you can’t manage your emotions don’t expect to manage money”. How are they related?
We all suffer on some level from destructive emotions. When we don’t allow ourselves to recognize them or release them it can totally mess up, not only our week or month, but also our life. The chemistry that happens in our brains from destructive emotions releases cortisol and adrenaline which is destructive and aging to our bodies. Our emotions are real and we need to allow ourselves to feel them. We should let our emotions go as opposed to holding onto them and then being led by them. When we don’t let go of our emotions they store up in our body and cause disease. So if we don’t handle our emotions, we cannot be successful, because of the toxins that are being stored in our body.
Most people can be divided into two types of people, those who totally suppress their emotions and those that can’t control them. We have emotions for a reason and we need to take the time to deal with them and move on. Also our attitude and the way we hold ourselves plays and important role in how we feel. Our body language is very important and says a lot. If we are always holding our heads down, feeling like a victim all the time our minds tell us, apathy and then our brain releases cortisol, but if we hold our heads up high and smile, our mind says joy and we feel happier and better about ourselves. Energy always shifts, so when we are in a dark place, let us shift our energy by changing our circumstances and doing something different.
