My husband and I took this trip on May 28, 2014. We were looking for a way to try out kayaking without going through the expense of buying them and found About Kayaks River Rentals. They also have a dry, outdoor storage facility called About Storage and that’s where we went to pay for and got everything we needed for our trip, kayak, paddles, life vests and instructions. A man drove us to the a drop off point, where he helped us carry all our equipment down a trail into a wooded area to begin our adventure. There were no other kayakers with us and we didn’t see a soul anywhere on our journey. Since we were going with the gentle current, it made paddling very easy. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the area!
