Hello! My name is Sindy and I travel with my dog Bo-Ty. Bo-Ty and I go on many adventures that I turn into children’s books. I wrote a children’s book about a gopher tortoise we met while hiking in Florida, “BO-TY AND I MEET A GOPHER TORTOISE.” We were hiking in a park called, Halpatiokee Park, in Stuart, Florida, when we came across a gopher tortoise on the side of the trail. Bo-Ty had never seen a tortoise before, so he ran up to him and started barking. I was able to calm him down and we both watched as he munched away on the grass.
