Sebastian Inlet State Park is our go-to beach, but we rarely pay to go inside the park. We usually just go to a little spot right outside it. This excursion took place on May 14, 2014, it was a picture perfect day.
Before we got there, though, we had to stop by Reel Um In Bait & Tackle to pick up some fishing reels Lucky had serviced, they have since moved from this spot to another location just down the street. Then our next stop was Wabasso Bait & Tackle, this is where we get our bait most of the time. The original building has since closed down, bought out by developers, but they have a new location just down the street.
The surf was pretty rough on this day, so we decided to go ahead and go inside the park, it cost us $5 to get in, but I believe they’ve gone up to $8 per car now. But, before we went into the park we stopped by Long Point Bait & Tackle to pick up some more bait. We have, eaten at the diner there many time, they make a really good breakfast. Once inside the park, we decided to fish from the lookout, it was a little chilly up there for me, I ended up moving to a more sunny spot. It was a very, much needed, relaxing day.
