Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill in Kentucky July 22, 2020

This was once the home to 500 Shakers, a 19th century religious community known for its agricultural skills, ritualistic dancing and dedication to a simple life apart from the business world. The last Shaker died in 1923, but the place has been kept as a museum. 😀
