Balanced Energy, Balanced Life

When we think about energy we usually think about the energy we use to power our car, or our house, or even our body, but, the energy that I am talking about is the energy that powers our life. We use this energy everyday without even being aware of it. This kind of energy is the energy we feel when we walk into a room where two people have been fighting, and even though they may not be speaking, there is an energy in the room. Most people will even say, “the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife”. This is the same energy that surrounds two people who are madly in love, then, we might hear the phrase, “Love is in the air”. There is no denying that this energy exist, we feel it all the time, but, it’s just not something that is acknowledged all the time.

In our life, this is the energy that drives us to take action. This energy is what gives us the desire to fulfill our basic needs for, food, clothing and shelter, which also includes the need to connect to humanity and the environment. This energy is what pushes us to be a creative and powerful force, using our sexuality and creativity together with our power and sensitivity to accomplish our goals in life. Its what gives us our desire to love and be loved, while also giving us the ability to communicate with others openly and freely, to listen and be heard. This energy also gives us our more spiritual desires like, insight and knowledge, together with, fulfillment and contentment. When all these areas of our life are in harmony and flowing freely, we have balanced energy and a balanced life. We are healthy and strong and we are able to live a life that fulfills all our desires.

We should understand that this energy is a system in our body and in this system there are certain points of concentrated energy. I have written a book that explains how each of these energy points are associated with a certain area of our body. It starts at the root energy and works up through the body to the crown energy.

That doesn’t necessarily mean that each of these points are an entity in and of themselves. When our energy system is opened and balanced each point flows into another, working together, to create peace, harmony and contentment in our life. I believe that each day carries it’s own energy. So, as we will go through each day, we can connect a certain energy point with a certain day. The reason why I use one day to focus on one energy point is to help us become aware of each energy point and see how it works in our life as a whole. So, once we have accomplished our goal of recognizing our energy points, we will find that there are certain triggers throughout each day that will remind us of a certain energy point, no matter what day it is.

I have written this book to help each of us learn how to integrate our energy system and be aware of how it works, in our day to day life. In each chapter I explain, why we are connecting an energy point to a certain day, what the benefits can be for focusing on that energy point and the areas of the body that energy point affects. We will go through some of the exercises that are beneficial in getting a certain energy flowing and I will explain how, even what we eat and how we eat it, carries an energy with it. We will find out how, what we wear affects us and those around us, how what we focus on throughout the day makes us aware of a certain energy point and even add in some “me” time at the end of our day to help us unwind. By using each day to focus on one energy, we will, then, become so familiar with that energy, that when we see, hear, touch, taste or know certain triggers on any given day, we will recognize them, and associate them with the appropriate energy point. Then, we will begin to notice, that our energy is moving and flowing freely and how it is affecting our life.

There are many energy points in our body, but in the book, we focus on the seven major ones. We have a root energy point that grounds and connects us, we have a sexual energy point that connects us to our creativity, there’s our core energy point that connects us to our power, our heart energy connects us to love, our throat energy connects us to our communication, our brow energy point connects us to our intuition and our crown energy point connects us to our spirituality. Getting these energies integrated into a free flowing, balanced, opened and aligned
system is what we are aiming for by focusing on the different areas of our life. By taking control of our own life and not waiting for someone to come along a get us out of our situations, we will look, feel and move differently in the world. It is up to each individual person to do what they can to make their life better.

Chakra Energy

The reason why it is important for each individual to pursue a healthy life is because it affects society as a whole. If we look at ourselves as being a vehicle for energy, then, as we move through our day, we are the only ones who can be responsible for the energy we bring with us. That energy doesn’t just stay with us, it radiates out from us and into the world, that’s why we can feel tension or love in the air. If we are not happy, satisfied, content or healthy, then we have to ask ourselves, “What kind of energy am I putting out into the world?” And then, if we look at that energy collectively, we can see that it makes a difference in how our whole world operates. If we had more happy, satisfied, content and healthy people in the world, then, our world would be a happy, content, satisfying and healthy place to live.

This energy system is working in our life right now, without us even recognizing it. If we focus our attention on certain aspects of our life and become aware of how this energy system operates, then, by changing certain things we do, we can tap into it and use it to change our life. Awareness is the key, focusing on each moment and staying in the present is what helps us balance our energy and our life. This is not a process that happens overnight or within the week. We will not get through the book, come to the end of the week and say, “O.K., my life is completely changed and I am balanced, healthy and happy”. That’s not how it works, it is different for everybody. One person may get to the end of the week and see a difference, another person may get to the end of the week and see no change at all. It depends a lot on how much effort and time we put into changing and how seriously we take what we are doing. Don’t get me wrong, this is not a book that is going to be a physical boot camp. It is more like boot camp for the soul, it is fun and happy, but also, hard and emotional. But, if we really want to see change in our life we have to go through some challenges, but, it is those challenges that give us a sense of accomplishment, which is how we change our life.

I do not expect that as we go through each day we will be able to accomplish everything in that day. Like I said it is a process that has to be integrated slowly into our lives. It may take days, months or even years, depending on how much we desire to change. I know that this book may not be for everyone, you may be a person who does not believe what I am saying or you may be a person who doesn’t really want to change, or you may even believe that it does work, but don’t want to put the time and effort into it right now. That’s O.K., because everyone is on their own path, with their own timing and living their own truth. That is what life is all about anyway, living your own truth and learning your own lessons. I am not trying to convince anyone they should do anything. I am not trying to start my own cult or religious movement. I look at this book as if I am planting a seed, sometimes the seed falls on rocky ground, which means it may take some time for it to sink in and take root or it doesn’t take root at all; it may fall into weeds, which means that there may be too much clutter and confusion in ones life right now for this information to be useful and then, it may fall onto fertile ground, where it is the right thing at the right time, but, whatever ground it falls on it will still take time to grow. I have learned in the past twenty years or so about this energy that moves through us and I am using it to change my life and I just want to share this information with you.

Another thing I would like to touch on is, just because we are balancing our energy and our life doesn’t mean that nothing challenging will ever again happen in our life. We will still get angry, sad, hurt, depressed at times, and even have a moment or two of guilt, rage or regret. We have been told that these are negative or bad emotions. We have been taught to suppress these emotions. We read self-help books, take medication, meditate and pray trying to get rid of these emotions. What I would like to do is give a different perspective. What if we were to embrace these emotions? What if to look at these emotions as tools to help us get to know ourselves better. For centuries we have been looking for ways to get rid of them, pushing them down by not acknowledging them. I don’t believe that is working, because I don’t believe we are supposed to be doing that. I believe we are supposed to be using them for our benefit and the benefit of others.

Here’s what I mean. Suppose we get mad at someone for something they have done to us. We feel justified in our anger so we tell people how a certain someone made us angry and how we are justified in our anger and then those people tell someone and on and on. So now we have created these negative energy trails. Now, lets look at the same scenario differently, instead of telling people about our negative experience, what if we say to ourselves, “What is it about me that made me so angry at that person or situation?”. WHAT!, you might say, ME?, I didn’t do anything, why should I blame myself? Here’s the thing, its not about blame, its about opening up to who we really are and finding out what it is that makes us tick. If we ask ourselves a question about being angry, sad, frustrated or whatever, we might find that it is our belief’s about how we should be treated or what someone else should or shouldn’t be doing or saying. It is about us, not them. They have just triggered something inside us that has opened up an old emotional wound or are even mirroring what we don’t like about ourselves. By asking ourselves questions about our negative emotions we can use them to heal us, which will start to make us think differently about things. We can do this with any emotion we ever have, if we want to find out why we are the way we are, all we have to do is ask our self, “Why am I having this emotion”, good or bad, and we can’t just ask, we have to answer.

I’m sure we have all heard the saying, “Life is a roller coaster”, but what I’m saying is that it doesn’t have to be that way. Yes, we still have emotions, but, those emotions do not have to run our life. We don’t have to give into the impulse to act on our emotions. We can look at everything through the same lens of love, love for others and love for ourselves. We can use our emotions as learning tools, not for what we learn about other people, but, what we learn about ourselves. We will no longer need to place blame or guilt, we will no longer have to hold grudges and get revenge, because the more we know about ourselves the more compassion we will have for others, knowing that none of us are faultless, we all deserve forgiveness and should be forgiving.

There is a quote I love about forgiveness that says, “Forgiveness is letting go of the hope that the past could be any different”, I love this because it means that we do not have to forgive for the other person, we forgive for our self, so that we don’t have to carry so much emotional baggage, which makes it easier for us to move on. The only time in our life that is real is the present. We can not change the past and we do not know what the future holds. The only part of our life that is real and holds the truth is right now, in each moment.

So, I hope you enjoy the book, I pray that each day brings you closer to being the person you truly want to be. Even if this book isn’t for you, whatever it is that you believe and hold true is what is good for you. This is what makes our world such a wonderful place to be in. We can hold our own truths inside of us and never let them go. No matter what is happening around us, no one can touch what is inside of us. We hold the key to the answers of our life, we know instinctively what is good for us. We just have to listen to our inside for answers, instead of looking to the outside. We don’t have to be so quick to place blame on others for our situations, our emotions and our actions, we don’t have to be so unhappy, feeling like we have to work ourselves to death to feel like we are successful. We can realize the important things in life are, having relationships, caring about our environment and enjoying our life; we don’t have to hate our jobs, hoard our money or worship our things. Life can be easy if we just learn to let go of control and trust that things work out the way they are supposed to, whether we are striving against the current or going with the flow. If we allow ourselves the freedom to let go of everything, then we are attached to nothing, and then fear cannot control us any longer.

In doing research for this blog I came across some interesting information. My intention was to write about St Valentine and how we came to celebrate St Valentine’s Day. Well, to my surprise, there is no one St. Valentine and there is no connection between St. Valentines day and any of the three Valentines that were martyred at different times and buried on February 14.

There is a legend however, that tells of a St Valentine who was persecuted for being Christian. When being interrogated by Roman Emperor Claudius II, the Emperor tried to convert St. Valentine to paganism in order to save his life, but Valentine refused and tried to convert Claudius to Christianity instead. For this he was executed, but before he was executed he preformed a miracle by healing the daughter of the jailer, who was blind. In the romantic version that was given to by American Greetings, the night before Valentine was to be executed he wrote a letter to his “beloved”, believed to be the daughter of the jailer, and signed the letter “From your Valentine”. Nice story, but there is no historical proof that this actually happened.

Before 1797 there were a limited number of Valentine’s Day cards being printed called “mechanical valentines”. After 1797, a British publisher issued the Young Man’s Valentine Writer, which contained a mass amount of suggested sentimental verses for those who were unable to compose their own. Because of the reduction in postal rates, it became easier for people to send anonymous Valentines day cards to each other. So, by the 19 century paper Valentines Day cards became so popular in England that they started to be produced in mass, by factories. The United States started mass producing them shortly after 1847 by Esther Howland, whose father owned a large book and stationary store. She was inspired by an English Valentine she received from a business associate of her father’s.

So you see, here we are in 2012 looking forward to Valentine’s Day so we can receive our bouquet of flowers, box of chocolates and a heart shaped pendant, all in the name of love. It’s a day of proposals, first dates, date nights and weddings. All because of a romantic story perpetrated by a card company as a marketing strategy to sell more cards. What are we to make of this? Look, I am all about love and romance and I am all for giving our loved ones romantic gifts and cards, but why are we doing it the name of a saint who doesn’t even exist, because of a story that has no proof? Why do we need a specific day to honor our loved ones? Why can’t we make everyday a day that we cherish our loved ones and make them feel special?

We have become so commercialized nowadays that we don’t know real from fake, truth from false or fact from fiction. Our economy is the way it is today because of people trying to live a fake life, by living above their means. We have become a society obsessed with the need for things, judging ourselves by our looks and comparing ourselves to what others hold in high regard. Now is the time to get real! Lets get real about our finances, our relationships and our lives. Lets get our heads out of the sand and live our lives as authentic, real and truthful human beings, loving each other everyday, flaws and all and not just on one particular day set aside for love.

I am writing this blog post today from the heart. I just want to say how excited I am about the upcoming year. I feel it is going to be an exciting one. There is so much to look forward to. I am aware that the media wants to paint a year of chaos and destruction, but that is only because it good marketing. We are living in a fear based society that craves a good doom and gloom story. Why do we love fear? It is very obvious that most people love the feeling of being afraid or roller coasters and horror movies wouldn’t be so popular. But what makes us want to live in fear? I have heard thrill seekers say that it makes them feel alive and gets their adrenaline flowing.

I realize that there is such a thing as facing our fears. If we are afraid of something and do it we will find out that there was nothing to be afraid of in the first place. But, there is a difference between facing our fears and living in fear. There are those who live in constant fear of the unknown. It seems like every time we get past an “end of the world” date, someone makes up another, keeping us in constant fear. And the funny thing is we fall for it every time. It is as though we are looking at our demise as some kind of thriller movie. If the media and the people who are promoting and making money off of fear would spend the same amount of time and money on promoting love instead of fear, joy instead of sadness and peace instead of war we would have hope instead of fear.

I for one am going to stay out of the fear and stay in love. I refuse to let the media and the promoters of doom and gloom take away my hope. I pray for a world that will stop worrying, stop being afraid, and stop the chaos that is causing separation. I pray that we will come together as one consciousness and change the doom to hope, the gloom to light, and ultimately the fear to love. I pray that this year will bring us closer than we have ever been in the past, that we would see that our differences are what make us the same, and that we ultimately all want the same things in life, peace, love and happiness.

Happy New Year to you all,

Sindy Williams

Dove Chocolate Discoveries

It Christmas time! Oh how I love this time of year. For me this time of year is about dreaming a bigger dream, pursuing a bigger goal and setting a bigger intention. I do not go to the shopping malls or the the department stores this time of year. Any gift I give is from the heart and is hand made. But, I know that there are some people who make this time of year so hard on themselves. Most people have stressed out lives on a daily bases anyway, then add to it all the holiday stress and people lose their minds. But, that shouldn’t be what this time of year is about. This shouldn’t be the time of year that we dread or get stressed out about, it should be about dreams and visions for a better world. If we put the same energy that we put into buying presents, going to parties, worrying about long lines and sitting outside of stores at all hours of the night trying to get the best deal on this or that, if we put that same energy into birthing our dreams, what a wonderful world this would be. So, if we think of this time of year with the intention of dreams and visions for a better life and a better world, what would that look like? What is the meaning of having a dream?

Our dreams are visions that are given to us. They are what we jump out of bed every day to do with a smile on our faces. This is the time of year that we should actually be slowing down. This time of year is when we should be resetting our priorities and doing the things that bring more meaning to our lives. This is the time of year that we should be putting our families first by spending more time with them. This is the time of year when we deck the halls, string the popcorn, listen to Christmas carols, bake cookies and drink hot chocolate by the fireplace. This is the time of year that we dream bigger dreams for our lives, for our families and for our world. Our problem is that we have ignored the dreamer. We forget to include ourselves in the hustle and bustle of life. This time of year should be magical and bring forth the good inside each one of us. Why have we turned it into a hockey match where we are pushing and shoving each other for the latest gadget or toy? We have allowed the media and the department stores to dictate to us what is important and have lost sight of what is really important. What kind of legacy are we leaving for our children? What kind of example are we setting for them? Instead of going to the store at midnight on black Friday and knocking people over for stuff, why can’t we sit down at the dinner table with our family and write down our vision for the season. Why aren’t we pushing people out of the way to help others? Why are the shelves at the local food bank empty while we’re out buying useless stuff for people we don’t even like?

I heard a song with the lyrics, “You can ignore the dreamer, but you can’t deny the dream”. But, I think that is exactly what we are doing in our world today, we are ignoring the dreamers and denying our dreams. We have become brainwashed into thinking that we need things that we don’t, or if we don’t give the biggest and the best gift we are not worthy of love. What kind of world have we become that people have to be tasered to bring order to a department store on black Friday? Is this the kind of dreams we have for our society? We should be thinking of our dreams as living legacies. Something we feel good about everyday, not something we have to get. There should be more to our dreams than a wish list of the things we want. Our dreams should be about what we can do to make a better family, a better community, a better nation, a better world. This may seem like big dream, especially when we see the horror of what this season brings, but if we start with each one of us, one step at a time, it can be achieved.

What does it take to hold onto the vision of our dream? The first step is to take care of the dreamer inside of ourselves. Remembering that we are human “beings”, and that just being is good enough,we don’t have to do anything. Being our authentic self is enough. As our authentic selves we will take the actions necessary to birth our dream. Its only when we are in our egos that we get stagnant and do nothing or think that we have to do it all, today. Its our egos that tell us that we have to have the best or be the best or give the best. Our egos put up the barriers and road blocks that keep us from moving forward. The ego tells us that we are not good enough or big enough and brings up the fears inside us.

Underneath the chaos of the season we are fabulous people, living fabulous lives. Its when we stop thinking about ourselves and others, that we get stuck in stinkin’ thinkin’. Lets remember our power, because we tend to forget that we have what it takes inside of us to get us to where we believe we can be. To fill the gap between the dreamer and the dream we need to take inspired action and don’t forget to love the dreamer so we can support our dream.

My dream for this season and for seasons to come is that people will stop and think. Think about what is happening and take responsibility for our own actions. My dream is that people would remember that this season started as a season of love, peace on earth good will toward men. Not a knock down drag out fight to get the best deal on the latest thing. STOP THE MADNESS! We have to realize that the dream knows more than we do and that we are the servers of our dreams and we are the only ones who can bring it to reality. No matter how bad it looks on the outside, we can not give up, no matter how bleak the future may look now, if we believe in our dream for a better world, we will persevere.

How important is it for us to prosper, have a great self-image, communicate clearly, have worthwhile relationships, and live our lives knowing that we are always making the right decisions? Sound to good to be true? Well, that is what we can have if we live our lives in the moment instead of in the past or in the future. Its about living a life of Truth.

What is Truth? It is when stop using our intellect and start looking within ourselves to give us the information we need to be who we Truly are. This can be called our higher self, the voice of inner Wisdom, or our intuition but what is it really?  Its all  the information that we need that is available to us in each moment.

When we go inside to find Truth we are putting ourselves through a process of clearing out false beliefs, false memories and false images about ourselves and our lives. Its when we combine  contemplation with meditation. Getting in tune with ourselves and releasing all data stored up inside our minds. And then receiving the Creative Energy we need to change our lives. Getting out of confusion and the dark. When we go within the light shines and that light reveals to us  whatever information we need in the form of Creative Energy.

We are usually motivated to make a change in our lives when we are going through troubles. That’s when we start with self rejection, thinking we are not good enough the way we are, hating where we are.  This is the engine that powers the train that motivates us to change. When we feel ourselves caught up in a web of self-defeating thoughts and actions. Where do we turn? Who has the answers? Where do I go from here? Mostly looking outside of ourselves for the answers. STOP! The first thing we need to do is go within to find the Love. We need to start embracing ourselves exactly where we, that’s where transformation happens.

Where does the Truth that is within us come from? When we are confused and need clear direction in our lives we think that our answers are somewhere out there. Truth isn’t something that we receive from someone or something as a one time gift and then we can move on with Wisdom, Knowledge and Truth firmly planted in us, no longer having to think about it. We are always flowing, moving, and growing, therefore, we have to be aware at all times, constantly living moment to moment. Then Truth is revealed to us from within, not without. We are given the grace to see that we need Truth and then we can start the process of removing false and receiving Truth. Then the light comes in and we get a wake up call and the Creative Energy starts flowing.

So many of us today are struggling financially. Why is that and how can we gain the Truth we need to get out of our situations?  Each of us struggles for our own reasons, however the beauty is when we go within to receive our Truth, the questions we ask ourselves are a reflection of our individual struggles, therefore, our Truth will be geared toward our own personal belief system we have stored inside our minds. When we do the work of letting go of false beliefs and ideas that hold us back, we will get the answers that we need.

So if the question we ask ourselves is “why am I not there yet?”, we won’t get the correct answer because that can’t be the question. That question will only reveal the false, because that question is a rejection of where we are and now we are caught in the negative which is false. That is self rejection that can never guide us to the Truth. Truth can only be revealed in the moment, that is the only Real. That is where Love, Power, Wisdom and Light reside and where we can, then, receive our Creative Energy. So, the question we should be asking is,  “What are the false beliefs and ideas I have that I need to understand? What is preventing me from receiving the Truth I want?”

When we are in Truth, we can embrace ourselves exactly where we are, because that’s where all our information is. So don’t let our questions to ourselves be about the negative or the false beliefs or ideas we have, because what we want is to be in Truth. Falseness is a rejection of ourselves and where we are because we think we want to be in a better or different place. Truth allows us to be exactly where we are so we can learn. If we do not recognize where we are and accept it with total non-judgement then we can’t learn from it and then find Truth which leads to receiving the Creative Energy that changes our lives.

There are a lot of people who are overwhelmed with all the responsibilities in life, many of us would like to have more focus and more direction in our life. We have a belief that it will take to much time. That is not Truth, because if we have time to breath, then we have time to know Truth, its that easy.  Truth is the moment we are in. If we ask ourselves a question, we can close our eyes, relax,  trust that the answer will come, and the rest is not our business. When we focus on our breath in and our breath out, then our Truth will arise from us and we will receive our Creative Energy.

Falseness guarantees our suffering, and we do not need to suffer. The questions we ask ourselves determine whether we let go of false beliefs and ideas and find Truth or if we remain in the dark, trying so hard to find the way out. Because Truth is all about self acceptance and acceptance of all those around us, wherever we are, the false focuses on rejection. How many questions do we ask ourselves everyday? We have so many questions and if they are rejecting, then we cannot come to the Truth. We need to be willing to go inside ourselves and accept ourselves just the way we are and be accepting of others just the way they are, and from that place we will naturally evolve, move and grow, it can’t be helped. From there we get the Creative Energy we need to move forward and change our lives.

With all the tools we have available to us now a days we have become a society that has so much power. But, how do we us this power? This power is a creative power that can be used to destroy or  we can use it to evolve. So the question is what do we as individuals want to create? Your decision has the power to make or break humanity as a whole. It is in your hands.

It is our individual duty to humanity to make a conscious effort to do good with the opportunities that come our way. We can make a decision to put our efforts towards, expressing our goodness, or to destroy with our creativity, the choice is up to us. The kind of power we have at our disposal is the kind of power that used to be attributed to gods. This is the kind of power that can destroy our environment and our world or we can do great things and evolve into a more superior species. It is in your hands.

It is obvious that our world is in crisis, and this crisis can be used as a driving force to push us to evolve or devolve and go extinct. It is that serious. It seems that we are just starting to wake up to the fact of how serious things are. As we continue to awaken in the next few years, we will start asking ourselves serious questions about the direction we want to take regarding our environment, energy, education, etc…Then we can become innovators. It is in your hands.

We are creative beings, so lets ask ourselves, what do we want to create? What kind of society do we want to create? With all the power and all the knowledge that is available we have it in our control to create whatever kind of world we want. The palate is clean, we can write on it or paint on it whatever we want to. We do not have any idea of what kind of world we will create because we have nothing to go by, there is no model for us to look at and say, that’s were we need to be. It is in your hands.

There is a power shift happening all over the world and it is women who are heading the movement to change our world. It used to be said that after menopause, women were done. That since we were done with child bearing we were done with our contribution to society. But the truth is after 50 women are becoming more vital, more creative, and more beautiful. As long as we keep ourselves active, as long as we still have a passion, and as long as we are curious enough to want to learn new things. This is what gives us a sense of purpose, and a reason to stay creative. This then changes our mind set and we no longer feel the need to want to be younger. Life after 50 is about using all the wisdom, knowledge and creativity we have accumulated through the years. This is such a new concept that we do not have very many role models to fashion ourselves after. It is in your hands.

Powerful Women Over 50

Our crisis in the world may be getting worse, but the scope of opportunities are greater for us now than they have ever been. There is a lot more freedom for women to become more innovative, creative and forge the path to the evolution of the human race. We come from an unconditional love and passion that is far beyond anything that can be imagined.  When we as women fall in love with our passion to create, we become so focused on it that we just have to share it. Its not about competition, it about the love and passion behind what it is we want to create. It becomes not about what we want to get, but what we want to give. It is in your hands.

When we strive so hard to make money, its all about making a living, but when we are being creative, passionate and giving, then its more about creating a life. We women have a natural sexual energy about us, even after 50, that same energy is the energy we use to create. Whether it be a human life or our passion. This sexual, creative energy is then shared with others, which then fills us up. It fills our hearts, our brains, our intuition, and our whole unique selves. We tap into our unique gifts, and the sharing of these gifts are what give us a sense of purpose, spiritually, socially, and individually. It is in your hands.

How Do You Deal With Emotional Chaos?

Learn to Stop Emotional Chaos!

What is emotional chaos? It is the negative feelings that come up when we have to deal with uncomfortable situations. Or when we are always trying to live up to a certain standard and then feeling like we have to be something other than who we are. Its when we feel irritated or frustrated with the people around us. When there is a disconnection from our heart.

When we are in emotional chaos we feel tension in our bodies, a negative vibration. We can literally feel our bodies clinch up, our heart beat grows faster and our temperature rises. It’s an uncomfortable feeling that gives us a fight or flight reaction. We can actually feel our adrenaline rising. Ask yourself, what is creating emotional chaos in my life? If you can figure out what your triggers are before they come up you can begin to deal with them and find a solution before you get into trouble.

So what’s the solution? Try connecting to the child within you. Ask her what are her fears and anxieties?  Talk to your inner child and ask her questions about anger, jealousy, fear, procrastination, control, or insecurity. Then let her know that you are in charge now and you will protect her and that you love her just the way she is. And then whenever you have negative feelings towards someone or are in an uncomfortable situation, remember the conversation you had with your inner child. Remember that you are in control now and there is no need to feel emotional chaos.

We women need to get in control of our emotions because it affects the whole family. We need to realize our negative feelings are a gift and are telling us that something is not being honored inside ourselves. We need to start loving ourselves so that we can love others. Keep in mind that emotional chaos is a sign that something inside us is hurting.

So the next time you feel emotional chaos coming up, realize that your adult self has left the moment and the child inside of you has been left alone to deal with a difficult situation; alone and scared. Become the detective and ask your inner child why this is bringing up negative emotions? What happened to you that makes you unable to deal with the painful situation your in? If we can learn to connect to our inner child and heal the hurts of our past, then we will be able to connect to, not only the people in our lives that we love and care about, but also the people around us who are hurting the same way we are hurting.
